So I've recently moved away from my D&D group and we've played one session of skype and their mic setup was pretty bad.  Does anyone know of a good area mic that would be able to pick up a group of players spaced around a table at ranges between about 10-20ft from the mic?

10-20 feet? Is the room really that big?

I have one remote player and I use a Logitech microphone that seems to work okay.

Just as a guess I'd say you need to look into the kind of mics used for teleconferencing - and be prepared to spend a significant amount of money.

Ultimately, micing whole rooms is a pain in the ass and rarely works well. The ambient noise with paper shuffling and dice rolling would be the big problem
