I need help!!!

Mar 19, 2010 22:12:22 ok first things first. I will give you my characters stats.
Str:25
Con:25
Dex:25
Int:25
Wis:18
Char: 25

My character started out human, then became a Cambian. After this A vampire and evetually a Lich ( this happened over years of Gameplay.) Ok long story short i had switched Deities alot. So alot of them wanted retribution. I was a 24th lvl Gladiator with some spell like abilities and spell casting. Lots of enchants and alot of gear. In carceri, i fought 24 Baatorian Duplicates of me, 4 avatars and their duplicates of me. aswell as chronus(sp?) Long story short after alot of killing I 'died' Being vampire i went into mist form and teleported to a layer of the abyss where i had my coffin. The coffin was a trap and i was taken to another layer of the abyss by my captors who intended on doing a ritual to destroy my phylactory. Lucky for my i had good gear and managed to kill alot of the beings and actually through exp and 10% bonus made it to a triple didget lvl. The phylactory was destroyed and killed the beings involved in the rituals. My body stuck in the coffin made out of some sort of Purple Crystal. I watched my essence fade away in some sort of little stars. What happend to me that My deity "Nerull" doesn't even know what happend? Mar 19, 2010 22:37:56 Um...what do we need help with? It pretty much sounds like the end to me. Gracefuly put the character away and start a new one. All things eventualy come to a end.

Mar 19, 2010 22:43:31 My only suggestion I can think of is to use lots of divination magic to found out wehat happened.

Um...shrug it seems to me to be DM fiat...
The fact is personaly the character is dead.
He is a vampire...he can't teleport anyplace while misted
He is a lich...his phlactry is destroyed he is dead. Gone...it is game over.
And you can't not be a lich/vampire by the rules so...

Your are playing with rules that are not normal rules of D&D...so really got no idea what rules would be to help...so no your DM has 'not out smarted us'.
Personaly I would start going after the gods who wanted retribution and their enemies. on the character. But I am sure that you would have come up with that eventualy that is basic mystery solving after all.

Your dm invented something, and a god can't help you...there's absolutely nothing we can do to help you unless someone personally knows your DM and can ask what house rule thing he used because it seems like your DM, at best, loosely uses the rules.

Mar 20, 2010 23:45:34 Sounds like a variation of the old Imprisonment spell and your "essence" is trapped within an amethyst, probably worn by an abyssmal creature that is immune to scrying.

But that's just my 2 coppers

...you're triple digit level...you're not even close to playing anything that anyone else has any experience with. Your dm invented something, and a god can't help you...there's absolutely nothing we can do to help you unless someone personally knows your DM and can ask what house rule thing he used because it seems like your DM, at best, loosely uses the rules.
