I have a question about the Illumian.
It says in the book Races of Destiny on page 55 -
"On attaining 2nd level in any class, an illumian gains a second different power sigil, and the bonus granted by each power sigil increases to +2."
The Krau sigil says in the book same page -
"Krau ("magic") +1 bonus to caster level for all spells and spell-like abilitiets (up to a maximum value equal to the illumian's character level."
If I pick the Krau Sigil, and I have a level one Cleric, level four Fighter; Do I cast my cure light wounds with a +1, +2 or +5 bonus?
..or have I completely missed the point? >.<

Wouldn't the answer be "none of the above"?
Seems to me that your caster level would be (Level 1 Cleric) + (Krau sigil +2) = 3. So, you'd heal 1d8+3 with Cure Light Wounds.
But don't take my word for it - I'm not nearly as expert as some others on the forums.
No worries Weevil. I'm at a loss on this race. They sound really cool, and I'd like to play one; I just want to make sure I understand everything that is going on. Heh.
They're definitely a race with an interesting concept. I played an LN Illumian Cloistered Cleric devoted to Aulasha the Librarian for about 10 levels and got some interesting RP ideas out of it. Unfortunately the campaign was set in Eberron so he never met another Illumian (his cabal or whatever it's called was wiped out when Cyre was destroyed) and he had to pay lip service to the idea that she was an incarnation of one of the Sovereign Host gods.
