#1 forgelord Sep 04, 2009 23:12:31	I have searched the mundane world, the Astral Sea and all but the Abyss for a group of brave adventurers daring enough to tackle an adventure with The Forgelord. Now I come here, calling you to join me. I am highly interested in an online Dungeons and Dragons adventure. I am not qualified to be a Dungeon Master, so someone else would have to fill those boots. It would greatly please me to play a play-by-post adventure, a play-by-email adventure or even a live chat adventure if we could all log on at the same time. We would need some sort of application to roll d20s, d12s, d10s, d8s, d6s and d4s, of course, and maybe a table top pen&paper application as well. If anyone knows of such a site or application(s), please tell me! If you are interested in playing, please tell me that as well. Please also specify whether you would play as a character or a DM. I look forward to our meeting, brave soul!

#4 Mysteria Sep 05, 2009 4:45:03	Well, there's: Quoted from Pbn: Holds up a sign pointing to the Real Adventures group and Quoted from Zherog: Sure thing. Please forgive the dust and such; the play-by-post groups are just getting setup and established after spending years as a forum here on the site. So a lot of the "helpful" text is written with the forums in mind. If you go to the group's forums you'll find both of those areas. There's a bunch of other play-by-post groups as well. Several, such as The Castle of Fun, Gleemax Roleplaying, and Garic's City are set locations in which you can roleplay a character. In each case, please check the group's rules (on the forum) as each has different requirements. If you're interested in a more traditional play-by-post, there's the previously linked Real Adventures, but there's also Play-by-Post Haven and d20 Modern. If you're interested in a "mafia" style game, there's Paranoia Paradise. If you're interested in an arena-style player vs player game, there's the COre COliseum. And there's a few more groups that I didn't mention yet: Terisia City, The Guild House, Map of the Planes, Magic Puzzles, Fun, & Games, and The Coalition War Game, In all cases, you should feel free to pop in and have a look around. As I said, each of us is in a state of flux as we go through a transition, but each group should be up and running at least. If you have any questions about specific groups, you can contact the group owner; if you have more general questions, please feel free to either ask here or send me a message. I'd be happy to help you out. Cheers!
