Is there a way to gain Channel Divinity without being a Cleric?

Jul 10, 2009 12:16:55 Friend of mine is rolling up a fighter that she wants to multiclass into Cleric but I've noticed many of the best cleric feats, or any of the god-based feats require Channel Divinity. (In particular she wants to get the Raven Queen feat that gives another heal, in a party without any other healers that would be most useful.)

I know Divine Power comes out in a few weeks and that may include some way for someone to multiclass into Cleric that gives Channel Divinity (the same way Martial Power has given people the ability to multiclass into Rogue to get different rogue abilities (like the Sly Dodge multiclass feat.) Perhaps Divine Power will offer similar feats for those that multiclass into Cleric.

So if there is any way to do it before DP comes out that we don't know about, that'd be great if someone could fill us in. Oh and she's not interested in using the test version of Hybrid/Duel Classing.

Jul 10, 2009 12:25:17 I don't think there's any. I agree that there will probably be one in divine power.

In the mean time, i suggest a home brew option, which can get replaced later.

Channel Divinity is available to any divine class, and that's how it's MEANT to be.

Jul 10, 2009 12:28:26 When they release Multiclass rules for the Monk, you can take that, and paragon path the Radiant Fist (I think that's what it's called), and you can get Channel Divinity that way.

Other than that the only thing I can think of is multi-classing to a cleric. If the player is not dead set on a fighter maybe a paladin?

Multiclassing into cleric does not give the character access to Channel Divinity.
