He should not do anything 'strenous'- so anything that would drop him to negative HP from 0 i.e. making an attack, casting a spell etc. would cause him to lose his concentration. As an alterative way of ruling it you could have him use the concentration skill- which I believe is an Assassin class skill; to maintain concentration, with harder DC's for harder actions. However as a player OR a DM- The assassin should be disguised, hidden or invisible in these 3 rounds to the best of his ability- its simply how assassin's work. If your a player assassin and your party insist on kicking the door down, at least ask them to give you 30 seconds to sneak through the window and be ready with a death attack. |
