First time poster here.

I've been playing D&D off and on for most of my life sometimes as a player, sometimes as a fair DM so please bear that in mind when answering the question listed below.

The Situation:  I've been invited to play in a game by some friends. It's bee a few months since I've last really played. Since the DM is most familiar with 3.5 that will be the system that we'll be using. I plan on creating a sorcerer, though the details are still a work in progress, I decided that the character will have grown up as a performer in a traveling show (IE like a circus) where his innate gifts could have been taken as meer showmanship and not some freakish ability to be feared).

Since I'm squishy and I don't wish to close with the enemy I came on the idea of the character being an adept "thrower" (Picture the knife thrower at a circus). The problem that I've run into is that with my scores set up the way they currently are my strength is lacking.

The Question: to anyone's knowledge does there exist a feat in 3.5  that functions essentially like Weapon Finesse but with throwing weapons?

If anyone knows the answer I would much appriciate the name of the feat and the source book in which it can be found (so that I can either track down a copy of see if a friend has it.)

You already add your Dex mod to your ranged attack rolls - are you trying to add it to your damage rolls as well, or to use your Dex mod for your melee attacks (which is covered by Weapon Finesse)?

Realistically, unless your character is built around being a ranged weapon specialist (which as a sorceror is counterproductive because you should be tossing spells most of the time), it's not worth the effort to spend your feats or other limited resources on things that increase your thrown weapon damage - The difference between adding your Str mod to your damage and adding your Dex mod to your damage, unless you have an 18 Dex, is often going to be only a point or two.
So there's not much point to trying to get it added to your damage rolls if throwing weapons aren't your primary form of attack (which in your case is your spells). Accuracy is almost always more important than damage, since being more accurate increases your overall damage output anyway. If you really feel like you must spend a feat on improving your weapon attacks rather than your spellcasting, go for Weapon Focus to increase your accuracy.
(Most spellcasters tend to go for crossbows as their ranged weapon since you can generally get higher base damage with them than with thrown weapons.)
