| #1green_girlMar 21, 2009 20:45:25 | I don't know if this is the right forum, so please just move it in case I was wrong. Thanks! My friend is looking for a certain miniature that looks like a Red Mage from Final Fantasy. Any help where can I find one closest to it? Her character is a Human Warmage with a red dress and a red witch hat. Kinda like this: Here are some other references: Show ![]() ![]() ![]() Minus the rabbit ears plx. |

As far as "close but no cigar" goes, the "Raistlin Majere" and "Hierophant of the Seventh Wind minis" are both red and mage-y, and have long hair, although neither are female and neither has a hat. I forget which set they're from (D&D Minis page is down as I write this) but it's whichever one has a tombstone as its symbol. Unhallowed, maybe? Both rares, unfortunately. Off the top of my head I can't think of any good female mage minis from other miniature lines but hopefully there'll be someone else who can help. |

She didn't like it. No hats, and no womanly parts. 8D I found this at Reaper Minis with the 'pointy hat' search. Here's a few others that might work, but most of them don't have hats... (Do you have any conversion skills?) Reaper Miniatures Mishka the Mystic Sharyn, female wizard Hannah Blackruby Darksword Minatures Female Witch Female Druid Melisandre If you really want to go for a conversion, Reaper has a set of hats that includes both the witch hat and another one with a feather in it that might do for the hats on those little guys in the picture... Hats |

I can't convert stuff like an expert although I have some sculpting skills learned from school. Another friend of mine can help me out though, since I help him with painting his miniatures anyway. That Melisandre figure is really good, hat or no hat. Although I've never encountered Darksword miniatures before. Are they on the same scale as Reaper? Can I get that hat from Reaper and put it on Melisandre. I'm afraid that the proportion might be off, since Reaper has bigger heads than Darksword's (which are more lifelike proportion-wise). Thanks, Mad Jack. You're really very helpful. |
