Looking for Session Options

I'm fairly new to D&D. I played a few sessions with my brother and his friends, online with maptools and vent. But we've stopped since the latest expac came out for WoW and now I'd like to get back into D&D. Unfortunately, my work schedule has changed so now I work early, early mornings and weekends. As such, even if my brother and his friends weren't raiding, their schedules had them getting back home around 6-7 pm, about when I need to start going to bed.

That being the case, I feel that an online session is not really possible, is there another option available? Maybe sorta forum based so that each player and dm can logon on their own free time, see the current situation and if it's their turn make the necessary rolls/actions they want? Or should I just try to join another group?

Thanks.

1) Kill WoW
2) Find new group
3)?????
4) Profit!

Really though when people play WoW, for whatever lame azz reason, they can't be helped. You need to find a new group.

Play by post games are older than the internet. It worked with snail mail, no reason it can't work through Email & private web sites (in fact it does!)....
