Magic Tattoo of "limited wish" an effective way to deversify warmage?

So seeing as I am playing a warmage in my campaign I think a lot about how to deversify her. I am trying the sandshaper build but even that doesnt seem like enough in the end. In my research into cool D&D stuff I came accross Craft Magic Tattoo. It allows a tattoo to be put on you that allows you to cast whatever spell was chosen at creation as if it was a spell like ability once per day. Do you think that using the cleric spell "Limited Wish" which can replicate any 6th level or lower sorcerer/wizard spell, or any 5th level or lower spell that isn't prohibited to you, is an effective way to deversify spellcasting? (Due to the xp cost it shouldn't be used willy nilly but for the huge spell availability you get it seems like a fair trade off to me)

Seems like it would be a good idea.

Have you considered rainbow servant? It lets you add all cleric spells to your list. Huge ammount of diversity.

Yea Originally I wanted rainbow servant but I decided to go sandshaper instead due to how long it would take before I get the cleric spells. We started at level 3.

Thats a pretty smart move if starting at level 3.

Whats your exact build if you don't mind sharing?

Something like warmage 5/sandshaper 1/Rainbow servent 10/Sandshaper 4 would probably be pretty solid and my basic recomendation.

You are a warpriest for a desert tribe of raiders.

Also, you've seen the warmage handbook right? http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?topic=2816

i actually did 6 warmage/1 Barbarian (So that I'm not solely dependant on magic and to add to the flavor that warmages are both mages and warriors) / 1 sandshaper. This is as far as I have gotten so far and I'm still on the fense about what to do in the future because I'm not sure how long this campaign is going to last once college is back in session. It would suck to take more dead levels and then have the campaign stop... Actually I just read the table and contrary to what I thought they do gain additional caster levels. I will definitely have to think about it more now.

Barbarian is an... interesting choice. With that in mind, maybe take the rage mage prestige class so you can at least cast in your rage?

Seeing as I rolled a 12 for adding HP and it allowed martial weapon proficiency, I havent really regretted the choice too much, though I will admit it wasn't the best option available. Also increasing my speed to 40ft has been surprisingly helpful for positioning myself in battle. I'm about to pass out for the night but I will look into Rage Mage tomorrow after work and see how it works.
