One in my group is an Ilithid, and he controls another Ilithid and sometimes other NPC's from far away. My questions: How far does a character have to be before the possesion is not possible? How many can an Ilithid posses at a time? (he's level 1) and can other characters that are not of his race link in what he calls the hive mind without being enslaved? |

So, probably in that ballpark. Ideally, your ally will not enthrall you because that's a sucky thing to do, player-to-player. You'd have every right to request that he not do so, and he should honor that request. |
