| #1atorrensNov 14, 2009 10:22:35 | Not sure if I'm in the right section of the forum... Please let me know if there's a better place for me to be posting my question! Recently got back onboard with D&D with the new edition, and absolutely love it. Lots of depth of strategy and a good feeling of the heroic fantasy! One problem; My adventuring party has mostly unusual combinations. I've found miniatures for most of them; The halfling warlord, the dwarven mage, the elven paladin, and the ever-elusive male human fighter, but I've hit a snag: The dragonborn rogue. Does anyone know of a good metal miniature that would do the job? I thoroughly enjoy miniature painting, so would like to give a nice paint job to a nicer miniature. I'm a fan of a lot of Reaper's work, and I'm actually putting an order in with them soonish, so you know of something made by them, that would be ideal, but I'm certainly open to ideas from other companies as well. Any help you can provide would be most appreciated! |

Those prepaints aren't BAD, but I was hoping to find something in metal and unpainted, as part of the joy of gaming for me is the painting and modelling, and my personal experience is that the wizards pre-paints don't re-paint well... Too much detail is lost. |

Especially if you're comfortable doing weapon swaps from one of their weapons packs... Admittedly, the armor on the Reptus generally suffers from Big Shoulderpad Syndrome, but there aren't too many other "dragonborn" races out there as far as minis go. If you do a search on their Figure Finder for Reptus, you may be able to come up with something reasonably decent. |
