Were running the 3/3.5E: RETURN TO THE TEMPLE OF ELEMENTAL EVIL! module.
with 4e rules.

Our Dm has done prev. editions whilst its our first exp of D&D as a whole.

I would hope for some tactical advice on battle/skirmishes with enemies. as we are somewhat lacking in some roles.

4 peeps, 1 DM (no DM char) lv4 atm.

1. Elven Predator Druid/Controller-Sec Striker/ritual/highest pereception/all Relfex target powers.(me)
2. Goliath Earthstrength Warden/Defender-Sec Controller/Highest AC(23)
3. Human Wizard (most details unkown) Full on Controller/weakest in AC highest Arcana.
4. Eladrin Retribution Avenger/High arcana-religion

I have taken the Beast form charge bonus feat (Enraged Boar), and the +1 dmg against bloodied when in BF feat.

Our Warden has the improve Earthstrength feat (cnt remember name)

as u can see. all we lack is a leader.

I generally try for the highest initiative (next feat!!)
so that i can BF (black panther) pounce with a +2 dmg and hit. then hopefully give our Warden (pref second highest init) a nice bonus to any defendery attack he sees fit to use.

then i ill maybe switch to hmoid adn give em a flame seed, get smackeda and proc the at-will warden pull power. instant dmg )

from this i can see that it is a s follows
Im the Single target controller/striker/leader(pounce)
wizrd is our multi ppl controller.

and the stirker and defender are self explanatory.

I plan for a humoid non ref targeting close/area for my 5 daily jsut to give balance and choice.

ANy tactical adivce~?

It's hard to give tactical advice with that little information really.

Just some general things are:

Focus fire on one enemy at a time instead of spreading out your attacks;

Don't forget to use Action Points at least every 2 encounters (because you'll get another one after the second);

Don't waste encounter and daily powers, but don't be too stingy either.

Make good use of Monster Knowledge checks.

Don't be afraid to retreat or change the location of a fight. Sometimes the area is stacked against you.

Pool your money rather than splitting it all equally, because it goes further that way.

Every fight is going to have its own best tactics to defeat. There is only so much preplanned set-up you can do.

Your best bet is to really understand your characters strengths and how you would use them in different situations. You also should share knowlege of those strengths with your fellow players so they know what attacks they can best use to synchronize with yours.

Always try to maneuver for combat advantage, flanking is easy to do, but smarter enemies will likewise try to flank you.

If you have powers which effect allies closeby or who are attacking the same target, maneuver so that you are close enough to use them.

Try to go beyond your character sheet, try to pull off some things you have seen done in movies...if your DM is acceptable of this and can play along there is no end of cool things to try to do.
