| #1ravenbrandJun 01, 2013 3:19:58 | Hi, it's me again. So i need some ideas, I'm currently a 6th level ninja with a 2LA for being a Vampire, (level 8) And have earnt the experience for being level 9, but was thinking about multiclassing - What sort of classes would be awesome to go with both a ninja and a vampire? Bearing in mind i have 27 flatfooted AC wearing no armour (thanks to ninja and Vampire) so i don't want to break the game, I was looking at becoming a shadowsun ninja, which would mean i'd need to put a level into sword sage, but that class doesn't seem overly exciting to play! I'm looking for something that can deal lots of damage, and potentially hit multiple times, currently my Base attack is +4! Thanks, |

| #4ravenbrandJun 01, 2013 12:30:39 | It was applied as a template because my character was turned during combat, it basically made me level 8, It was the DM's decision most likely, so i was level 6(all in ninja), but needed to get to level 8's worth of experience because of the template being added, to actually start gaining level xp, just to note, the alignment is Chaotic neutral, I'm looking at the occult slayer prestige class at some point. It's a really tough choice between that and the sword sage! lol |

Aside from not increasing your BAB, there's no real downside to taking a level of swordsage. You get Desert Wind, Diamond Mind, Setting Sun, Shadow Hand, Stone Dragon and Tiger Claw to choose from, and there's definitely going to be a few maneuvers from both Shadow Hand and Setting Sun that are perfect for a ninja vampire - a standard-action (rechargeable) 50ft. teleport in every fight is just flat-out awesome (Shadow Jaunt, lvl 2). Both Desert Wind and Diamond Mind have some good damage attacks at 1st level. (If you go two levels of swordsage, you could pick up a 3rd-level stance, Assassin's Stance, that gives you a +2d6 sneak attack.) |

| #8ravenbrandJun 04, 2013 11:14:26 | haha, it wasn't through choice, i rolled a ridiculously low Con/HP combo, and got drained in two! The benefits of remaining a vampire way overshadow the downsides! especially when you consider the spiderclimb... i actually flung myself off of a ceiling sword first into a pool to score a crtical hit of 45! what DM expects that kind of shenanigan! |
