Well my DM created a class called heroic beast, and I decided to take a dragonlance minotaur into it...

The problem is that my character is ALWAYS Huge, and has the ability to grow to gargantuan. This makes any city fights I get into pretty disasterous...

Do you guys have any ideas on how I could possibly still fight without treating cities like godzilla?

Acquire a psionic item of compression which, if I'm not mistaken, should shrink your PC down to Large size...still formidable, but not kaiju. You can always toss it when the fight starts. If you still count as a humanoid, a magic item of reduce person will swing the same trick.

Plan B: Buy a gaudy mumu and disguise yourself as a circus tent.

Oh, and if your Compression item has a manifester level of 7th or higher, it can shrink you down to Medium. (Might want to shoot for ML 9, though, so it'll last for nine minutes rather than seven rounds.)

Put points into Intimidate. Believe me, a gargantuan minotaur standing in the street will be really intimidating.

What is the point about being a gargantuan monster if you cant raze small cities? My advice to you is to change your alignment to CE ASAP, and let it rip next time your cowboy is in town :D

Use a spear? Sure, you may still put some holes in walls/roofs, but at least you won't be demolishing entire rows of houses with an errant hammer swing. And with a longspear, you have pretty long reach (30'-40'), so you can attack foes who retreat into areas too narrow for you.

Also, if you're high enough level, getting flight (via item or spell) could reduce your destructiveness - you can glide over the houses instead of stomping through them.

IMHO...

You've created a silly character, so now you have a silly problem to go along with it.

My advice: make a new character to adventure with. A huge-sized minotaur should be a monster, living on some remote island, not a PC who needs to go into cities.

Or, you could find out where the nearest stone giant city is, and go hang out there. Or just hang out in the wilderness, and never go to cities. Ever. When your adventurer pals go to a city, you wait for them behind a convenient hill.

And here I thought it was bad for the guy who reincarnated as a centaur, and then had so many problems with narrow dungeon stairs.

Like getting the ball from out under the couch with a stick for the dog. Your stick is only sharper, your ball, slightly more alive and remarkably unballlike, and your dog is your own, twisted mind.

I found this post to be remarkably entertaining.
