| #1lord_adarrApr 22, 2009 12:32:08 | I have committed to playing two different Gnome characters who will be brought into different campaigns. This one will be a Gnome Druid and I have never played either one in all my years of campaigning. Please help, he will be 9th level and his stats are: STR = 15; CON = 16; DEX = 17; INT = 15; WIS = 19; CHA = 13 * Abilities have been adjusted for 9th level already! Any suggestions for story lines, weapons, feats, skills, magical items, etc would be greatly appreciated. Books allowed: All Complete, Exalted, ETC. as well as Faerun books and the Forgotten Realms Setting. |

Aside from that... a chunk of your power and versatility will be determined by what sources your DM allows for your wild shape. Dire animals and dinosaurs are very often great forms for wild shape, because you get a lot of bang for your buck. |

I'm not sure what book it's in, but as the name implies, you get to seriously improve your wildshape abilities. A while ago, someone I knew played one and it was an awesome build to say the least. |

I'd actually advise against this, because it stunts (if not outright stops) your spellcasting. The druid is a broken class because it does everything. Your animal companion fights better than the fighter, you're a full 9-level spellcaster, and can wild-shape into horridly powerful forms. Spellcasting is THE power in 3rd Edition, never give up caster levels. |
| #5aireannaApr 23, 2009 10:32:02 | well...it depends on the build of your group. our druid took master of many forms which cut his spellcaster levels....but we have a scorceress, spell warp sniper and blood magus in our group. |
