#1 yamishinobi Feb 03, 2009 17:40:38	i'll give you all a concept, just one concept. i need to come up with any names that come to your mind. this is for a character for a future camapign less than a month away (march ish) my dungeon master banned any hint of oriental culture, ( so no oriental names) erase any thoughts of ninja you may have. though the concept is similar. (all assassin concepts are) i need both a first name and a last name. 16ish year old Female Human Rogue with 2 shortswords (her studded leather armor is relfavored as hardened padding, i would one day like to get her a mithral shirt) this is for a core only campaign, (minus monk) (PH1 PH2 DMG are camapign approved) i already have the build written up, but it is not stone set. Str 10 Dex 18 Con 12 Int 16 Wis 8 Cha 8 (32 point buy) a young woman in her mid to late teens, slender, petite, flat bodied, basically a Pettanko. her hair is a blackish color, medium length, long bangs, curls up in some places, thick and smooth, in the back, there is a horizontal braid across the cranium with 2 necklength vertical braids hanging down from it down to the upper neck tip. (about 6-8 inch long braids) she stands 5 feet tall and weighs around 86-94 lbs, she dresses in black, wearing loose black pants, black boots, a black overtunic with detached black sleeves with crimson thread trim, crimson padded bracers under her sleeves, around her neck is a crimson scarf, worn over a black hooded cloak worn down to her ankles. covering her nose and mouth are a black ninja type veil. held on opposite sides of a single sheath worn horizontally across her lower back are a pair of concealed thin straight short swords of mysterious make, they feature no handguard as to blend with the sheathe, which is disguised as a crimson sash tied at her waist. into battle, she tumbles, flips and jumps through the fray, planting either blade into vital tissue of her foes, such as a nerve or artery. due to her youth, she lacks emotional maturity. she is also socially invisible, preferring to skulk in the shadows.

#6 Fireclave Feb 03, 2009 18:14:49	I'm drawing blanks at the moment, but there are plenty of random name generators that can give you realistic sounding names, like Behind the Name and Wizard's Character Name Generator.

All righty, hows about; Elsa Moonshard Eva Marie Triona Cahaun (pronounced Ka-hawn) Kyrwyn Croix Sorsha Riial (pronounced Ree-al) Henrietta Krisstal Jade Nikaten Talia Zendrik Leandra Cross I think Bond Girl names would make great PC names as well; Fiona Vople Jenny Flex Melina Havelock Tilly Masterson Helga Brandt Domino Derval and even the illustrious Kissy Suzuki for you Rokugan players. #14 Shiftkitty Feb 04, 2009 14:55:26	Back in Ye Olden Days, I played a female rogue (back when they were called 'thieves', you young whippersnappers!) named "Felis Corona", aka Cat's Crown. Sylvestra (fem. version of Sylvester, to keep the cat theme) Corona? Could be a descendant.
#15 scortius Feb 06, 2009 8:29:19	whatever her first name is, her last name should definitely be Rouge, seeing as how Rogue is so often misspelled (see that quote in my sig, tho that's from the MTG forums)
#16 Zherog Feb 06, 2009 10:19:31	There's several name generator programs contained in the "FAQ and Important Links" thread stickied at the top of the forum. Maybe one of those will be able to help you out with this.
#17 perseus_stoned Feb 06, 2009 10:33:48	damn, i have some great 4e rogue names... oh well Ha ha, that was my first thought too (: I'd vote, "Tania Silith" I usually feel that something with sort-of-shorter syllables gives it a more dangerous and tactical feel. Obviously, very subjective ;)
