I don't like the official stuff that much and two of my players are good painters from playing warhammer so thats no issue just need a base miniture. The cleric is fairly standard looking but a deva although the paint job can reflect that, meaning a decent amount of flesh to armour would be good. As a final caveat we are in the UK so a UK supplier would be best. Any advice much appreciated. |

I still have some unpainted ones from the dawn of 3e and I can't wait to get some paints and start painting them again. Female or male? Because I'm looking for a similar fig, a male fighter - pref without beard - using a warhammer but no armour (he's a 3.5e multiclass fighter/sorcerer). Elrond - the GW fig I'm using at the moment - just is tooooooo Graham Norton for this gig. I haven't painted since the early noughties but there are a large range still of third-party unpainted minis - the Warmachine (futuristic)/Horde (fantasy) ones are sold at our FLGS, and they have a good range of non-standard fantasy figures above and beyond the LOTR kind of stuff.

| #5thebuddistSep 01, 2009 13:31:18 | Thanks Reaper Minis was okay found some acceptable models but still looking for alternative sources if anybody can help. As for painting a human thats the intention, just need the right human model. |

Is the Cleric male or female, do they wear armor or not. Are you wanting the miniature to show more or less flesh? |
| #7thebuddistSep 02, 2009 14:10:40 | Some armor, no shield and a good amount of flesh would be preferable. anything wielding a mace type weapon would be best but the player can do conversions and replace a sword if need be. Oh and male |
| #8Ka_D-ArgoSep 03, 2009 9:57:56 | These are some that I could see being used as Devas, with a little repainting or tweaking. All are available through Reaper Miniatures |
| #9thebuddistSep 06, 2009 16:33:20 | Thanks for the help kar dargo, we went for some of reaper minis stuff including the top one of the last bunch you suggested. |
