Need some ideas for themed powers for my campaign

Jun 27, 2012 18:35:49 Our campaign i play in is centered around 7 liches each built on the 7 deadly sins they have taken over the world and divided it amongst themselves to make the kingdom of wrath,envy,lust and the like.. And giving an appropriate power for each is my volunterred job, something specific centered around that theme.auras are what im looking for but any other powers would be helpful if someone can help and give me some ideas it would be greatly appreciated. i suspect we will be fighting envys first as we are in the midst of the palace sewers searching for a 3rd party that is tryin to kill the liches by summoning a greater, more powerful evil, but are gonna kill innocent people in the process. as goodly people we cannot let them sacrifce people.

Jun 27, 2012 19:40:28 Greed: minor action will attack. Recharge 4-6. Hit = steals action point from player and uses it that round.
Pride: room is surrounded with mirrors. Environmental hazard that dazes, but will defences and Int/Wis/Cha-based powers are all at +5 untyped bonus.
Wrath: Crits prone and push. Hits vs Prone do extra damage
Lust: aura 5 will attack that, um, stuns.
Sloth: Aura10 slow and weakened. drops to 5 when bloodied and -2 to any melee based attacks due to lethargy (but no longer weakened).
Gluttony: Poison aura. Room filled with food. Fort attack. Hit=target spends round eating food and gains 5 temps, but speed reduced by 1 each time. Anyone who has their speed reduced to 0 is unconscious.
Envy: Will attack aura. Hit=dominated and attacks most similar party member (either role or power type).

Jun 27, 2012 22:10:30 hmm some very good ideas to work with. and me and the DM seriously thought about making lusts aura make you overcome with that primal desire and a will attack that if hits makes you take your clothes off and be..lustful? kinda like a domination but with a preprogrammed directive.where a very mature gaming group so nothings really out of the question cause it just makes ups for laughs later on.

Jun 27, 2012 23:22:06 Maybe Primal characters will be either more susceptible. Or they get a bonus of some kind. Or both. They get hit harder, but an attack & damage bonus to accomplish their ends...

Something about Lassos and "tieing one on..."

Jun 27, 2012 23:28:00 Heh i can already tell its gonna be the most...interesting encounter, was thinking with wrath for him to be capable in all combat sources cept divine, and give him martial,arcane,primal, and a psiconic attack.
