#1 gogocharlie Apr 20, 2010 17:41:31	3.5 Im building an eldritch deciple and i was wondering if the lvls of cleric i take will at all effect the abilities i gain through warlock. For example, I had a GM a while ago who said that cleric lvls would count towards new invocations. He said something about the wording stating that the invocations were dependant on overall combined caster level or something like that. It was loud and i was distracted, i cant really recall exactly how he explained it.
#2 salla Apr 20, 2010 23:33:55	He's wrong.  If you're (for example) a Warlock 5/Cleric 2, you have the invocations of a Level 5 warlock (with caster level 5) and the spells of a level 2 cleric (with caster level 2). Once you actually take Eldritch Disciple levels, this may change, depending on what the PrC says.  I'm not familiar with it and don't have access to it.
