| #1arkthepiekingApr 25, 2008 3:36:22 | I'm joining a new group that already has a warlock, cleric, sorcoror, rogue, and barbarian. What should I play? I've got my list narrowed to the following: artificer psion crusader dragonfire adept psychic warrior scout swashbuckler paladin monk soulknife druid Any other suggestions would be mucho appreciated. Many thanks! |

However, you group is kinda large and has only one healer. A secondary healer would probably be appreciated. A bard or dragon shaman would be a great choices in such a large party. Bardic songs and dragon auras grant the most benefit in large parties, and both can potentially provide substantial healing, which the party's cleric will likely appreciate. |

Artificer : the party will absolutley love you for being almost "free" weapon smither:P , decent blasting. Scout :tracker , survivalist expert, good archery power. Swasbuckler : Flanker , secondary melee , party's spokes person Druid : -Zilla , secondary healer , good in melee and your animal companion helps alot to. |

| #5radijsApr 25, 2008 7:11:20 | A bard or a crusader would be my choice. A good buffer will double the lethality of this group. A bard can fulfill this role in a most excellent manner. A crusader dan do this as well with white raven maneuvers. |

While their healing capabilities aren't as reliable as a cleric (need to hit, often have to wait for refresh, lower healing amounts, etc), they are generally part of an attack. Opponent gets closer to death & the crusader or other party member gets healed all in the same round... definitely a good situation all around. If you go with a crusader, focus on Devoted Spirit and White Raven. Your party will get the most from these maneuvers and stances. |
| #7ariakusApr 25, 2008 12:37:36 | I 2nd the Dragon Shaman and Paladin, they need more tanks and healers and a DS has a draconic aura that will heal Hp's up to half their full Hp's without any concentration at all, he can do that and fight respectably at the same time, plus he has nice breath weapon and his natural AC begins getting better at mid-level. |
| #8metalmayhem80110Apr 25, 2008 12:56:07 | I suggest : Just to nit pick with you, but a scout does almost infinitely better as a charger than it could ever do as an archer. With the right build you can be doing upwards of 10 dice a charge, than your other bonuses on top of that. Plus you get a full attack if you're a catfolk and take pounce... Honestly your group is fine, a druid might be nice though. Druids can tank, be blasters, or healers. So they're kind of a catch all for a group. |
