Not sure if this is the correct forum for this, and if it isn't I greatly apologize. I'm looking to start table top role playing, and I haven't been having the greatest luck in finding a group. The closest game shop to me is still quite out of my way and I've been having little luck making contact with just about anyone. I live in the Eastern Phoenix Metropolitan Area in Arizona. Does anyone have a group or have any suggestions?

I would try the pen and paper games site. I signed up a few months ago and have had a few invitations. Our current group is entirely comprised of people we found on the interwebs since we moved here knowing noone. Good luck to you!

You live in abig city and the closest store is to far away?  How about school?  High School and College should have people playing these games.  Look for them.

If however you are 30+ and not in a school anymore, I feel your pain the older you are the harder it is to find a game it seems.  With no focal point close (a store) it hards to find groups.

I'm actually right out of college, so yeah, this does not bode well for our hero...

I live in the desert, so rocks are just about everywhere. Most people wouldn't notice any special placement. Tis a shame really, any where else that would be a brilliant idea.

If you can't find anything locally, you can try to find an online group.  community.wizards.com/play-by-post_haven..." title="community.wizards.com/play-by-post_haven...">This group is pretty cool.  I'm sure there are others as well.
