Player Needed for Dark Sun Campaign!

Nov 19, 2011 21:47:58 As the title says, my group's in need of an additional player for our Dark Sun Campaign. We had a 5th originally, but he flaked out, and any attempt to replaced him has met with unsuccessful results. Our party is level 4, almost 5 and consists of the following:

A Cindersoul Genasi TacLord
An Eladrin Pyro-Mage
A Minotaur Trident & Shield Fighter
A Half-Orc Barbarian (Soon to be replaced by an Elf Archer Ranger)

Anyone willing to join, please let me know ASAP. We play every Saturday around 9pm. Thanks!

I would still recomend you post your system, and how you plan to play. Face to Face, chat, VTT, what?

Also 9PM what time zone?

But I'd need to know how it's being played, online? Skype? Maptools? What time zone?

But yeah I'm up for it.

9pm Eastern time, though some of our players are from Canada and other locations.

We use: Skype, Maptools (1.3.b87), and Hamachi.

If you're unfamiliar with making macros and stuff for maptools, our resident expert can whip up your entire character sheet in macros in like 10-15 minutes lol!

Nov 20, 2011 17:44:31 Yeah that all seems fine. I'm very much up for this if the game is open to me. I've had experience with maptools but never used macros so help with them would be nice;p.

I can happily make a character for the upcoming session, is there any rules or anything else I should know about that? I can happily submit background too if the DM wants it.

Respond back if its all good, if not it's cool and have fun.

Nov 20, 2011 17:57:37 Backgrounds/Themes are restricted to Dark Sun only.
Classes are open to anything except Divine classes.
Races are restricted to Dark Sun only, though if you want something like a Half-Orc or anything that's not outrageous (read: no warforged or crazy ****) then let me know, since I have a pretty good idea of what the DM will allow.

We've just reached level 5, so make it that instead of 4. We also were told to make a wishlist of magic items between 5-9, whose total cannot exceed 30. (ie. a lvl 6,7,8, and 9 item would total to 30)

If you could, post the CB summary of your build in Skype, I'll pm you my skype name.
