aight so im trying to start up my own village or town in d&d anyone got anything i should tell my dm how to do this like how much should workers cost all that good stuff

Aside from mechanics, you should probably have a good reason why a village would thrive in the location you choose. People that decide to live on the fringes of wild territory don't usually do so without a good reason. A gold mine perhaps? Maybe it's the crossroads of some major thoroughfares. Or maybe even a strategic placement of troops or a way to control a strategic portion of land. Of course after the village starts to thrive a bit, enter threats...
