I'm thinking it is a requirement since it is part of the same paragraph, but on the other hand I can see no reason why it would require that as it doesn't directly say that it does. I'm quite sure it's a bonus for taking Paragon Multiclassing and Versatile Master though. Figured I would ask folks around here and see what they think about it. |

It is in the same paragraph that starts with, "If you choose the PMC option." This makes sense. The PMC option does not have any AP abilities. This feat gives half-elves an AP ability if they PMC. |

With it the Half-Elf race (perhaps my favorite, has been for ages, the race just blew in most editions,) goes from decent to a great choice. Thing is it really messes up my Paragon level plans. I play a Half-Elf Feylock MC Rogue who was planning on going the Cloaked Sniper PP (unless Arcane Power includes some sweet new Warlock PP.) But the awesomeness that is Versatile Master forces me to re-think my advancement path. Damn you WotC! Bless you for giving Half-Elves some love! /conflicted. |

I feel that with 4E, I also often feel conflicted when making character option choices. The reason is that more than one option ends up being just as cool and/or powerful as any other. |
