I am making a half dragon character and it says i should increase the race HD by once size and not the class HD. But what is the HD for a normal character race? They are not creatures.

For a normal PC race you would not do anything with this. This only effects a creatures racial hit dice and those "normal" PC races replace their first Hit Die with the class Hit Die. Now if you made a Half-Dragon Lizardfolk character you would replace its 2 humanoid hit die (2d8) with 2d10.

So for a halfdragon pc race, i would actually modify my class HD?

"And not the class HD", you even said it, so no.

So I don't modifiy any HD? I thought pc races use their class as like their racial HD?

Same goes for skills. It says I gain skill points like a dragon, but it also says to gain class skill points as i would normally. So since my class HD is my Racial HD, would i gain both dragon skill points and class points, or would one cancel out the other. As in I only gain skill points like a dragon and no class skill points, or I only gain class skill points and no dragon skill points.

That can't be right, because I did the math for the dragon skill points and its saying i gain like 88 points a level! Plus by normal class points. Can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong.

There's an edit feature.

Class HD is not Racial HD, a 1HD creature who takes a Class loses his first racial HD to take his Class HD, this is why you can have 0xp and yet 1 class level.

If you had racial HD, you would gain skill points as a dragon for racial HD only.

Think of it this way, a monster with monster class HD, such as Magical Beast, becomes a half-dragon, his Magical Beast class HD become Dragon class HD. A PC race, such as one of 1HD, loses his Humanoid HD to gain say, 1 Rogue HD. If you want more levels in Rogue, you're not taking Dragon class HD, nor do you have the option to do so, so you use Rogue skills..

Am I the only one suddenly thinking a white half dragon cow would be utterly pointless but kinda funny?

Are you kidding, that'd be awesome! The milk'd be cold straight out of the tap, you wouldn't have to refrigerate it first!
