I just wanted to get some clarification regarding surprise.  With the Hybrid Assassin/Rogue MC Warlock build, you can stealth after moving three.  With the Assassin's Shadow Step hybrid talent option, you can teleport three and disappear into thin air.  Is there any way to get surprise after the initial surprise round, or would this just be considering combat advantage?

Surprise happens only at the DM's option, and only before the first regular round of combat.  An opponent who is  startled by your sudden appearance might (if you have some appropriate feat or ability) grant combat advantage, but he will never be surprised.

I'm pretty sure they clarified the warlock  thing so you can't just move and hide for free, something about it requiring full cover.

The assassin has an explicit way around that restriction Bilop.

(FWIW the rogue has several ways to get around that problem as well)
