Hey, I'm looking to start a Steampunk game. Any suggestions on what good material would be? Obviously fairly Victorian Era, but I was wondering if there's any WoTC books that would be useful.

I'm mainly looking for expanded weapons, feats, and classes.

I don't know of any official WotC books, but there are some quality d20 steampunk settings by 3rd party companies out there.

Iron Kingdoms by Privateer Press, publishes a big ol' book on their campaign setting, complete with rules for guns, gun mages, the mechanic class, war-golems, etc.

Chaositech by Sword and Sorcery, isn't precisely steampunk (chaospunk?), but it has a similar flavor, with weird mechanical devices powere by raw chaos!!!

Allow me to strongly recommend the DragonMech campaign setting. It's my absolute favorite. It's fantasy steampunk, all right. I often hear comparisons to Iron Kingdoms, so I wonder if that's worth looking into as well.

It is. I'm not familiar with DragonMech, but Iron Kingdoms is a cool setting. Be warned: it's not for a evening's light reading. The core book is around 500 pages, and they mean it. Small print, and no wasted space. Read that, and you'll know the IK better than your RL country of origin.

As well as those already mentioned,

Legends & Lairs: Sorcery and Steam from Fantasy Flight Games

Etherscope from Goodman Games (although this is almost Cyberpunk set in a post Steampunk world)

in other systems, there are also:

Victoriana from Heresy Gaming (writen for the Fuzion system)

Space 1889 from GDW

GURPS: Steampunk and GURPS:Screampunk are good sources for assorted usefull stuff

its a simple stance, buuuuut.
Take the wiz/sorc spells and just think of techy ways to make the spell into a device, poof instant steam punk, leave the cleric/druid spells divine and all that.

Maybe I should look into it. But I'll just again bring up DragonMech. Moosh Nailo and I are pretty much its spokespeople on the boards.. Also, they've got a new work in progress that sounds promising: a spin-off tabletop wargame - without the requirement to collect all those minis to play. They hope to eventually create minis for it, but the rules will include mech creation guidelines. Talk about customizable. If the name doesn't give it away, the steampunk mechs are a huge part of this setting. But it's not all mech battles. The inner workings of the larger ones are their own ecosystems (dungeons), and you can even find yourself fighting on their outside. And boarding. Let's not forget about boarding. Or setting traps to knock 'em over. They even have a base class all about steampunk equipment (the "wizard" of the steampunk power source) plus the steamborg base class. It's great.

Theres always Shadowrun (now in its 4th ed), and Cyberpunk

Underground is an interesting Post-Cyberpunk game (although the tech has more emphasis on drugs and biotech and less emphasis on cyberware). I don't know if it is intended, but the games reminds me of Frank Miller's Hard Boiled.

Alternity has all the trappings needed for Cyberpunk, but does not have a core Cyberpunk setting

GURPS has GURPS: Cyberpunk, GURPS: Cyberworld, and GURPS: Cthulhu Punk

For d20 games,
D20 has the obvious D20: Future with D20: Cyberscape

RPGObjects publishes Blood and Circuits

as I mentioned before Etherscope from Goodman Games is almost Cyberpunk set in a post Steampunk world

There is a quite comprehensive Ghost in the Shell fan-made sourcebook that you should be able to find online somewhere
