Well, I am in a bit of a predicament, not a normal one mind you, but a predicament none the less. I need help trying to kill a few people, and by that i mean about half of the party. A group of three of us have embarked on a path to kill all of our complanion  who we believe stand in our way. The group consists of

Zod (changeling/assassin) me
Killblade Biggums (Dragonborn/warlord)
Tux(elf/wizard)

The people we intend to kill:

Sire (Minotaur/paladin)
Lee Sin (Shade/Monk)
Singed(Drow/ Warlock i believe)
Molan (Dwarf/Fighter)

So what I need some ideas on creative deaths, that won't get us caught right away. By the way the assassin build I am using is the Executioner from the Heroes of shadow. We are all about level 4. Thank you for any help you can give. If you want to know why we are killing them just ask.

If you want to kill your party you can’t tiptoe around it. You are going to get caught. If you use poison the DM will be asking the others to roll Fort Saves all the time, they’re going to catch on. Just wait till they’re weakened after an attack and strike in full force.

Have you told your DM you plot against your own team? Unless this is the kind of game you’ve all agreed to play people might get pissed off when you kill them. Once those characters die it can kill the mood of the game. How would you like it if they killed your characters and had to rebuild a new character?

Why do you need to kill these guys, exactly? Cuz if this is PvP there should be a very good reason for it, otherwise you may find your DnD game in shambles afterwards. I've seen PvP completely destroy campaigns. At the very least, you should talk to your DM about it if you haven't already.

The reason for killing these guys is quite simple actually. Also this is a game were people know that some may betray them. Also it is not only me doing the killing in this one. I will try to explain the best way I can for why

Sire: His character is a Paladin who upholds justice and things of the sort, me and my cohorts forsee him tampering in our deeds and thus see him as a threat.

Lee Sin: His character is the strongest cahracter in the party, and this has gotten to his head. He uses his morals to run the party and our band of "rebels" wish to see and end to it

Merc (I got the name wrong, this is the drow): Is hiding something and Lee Sin constantly is protecting him for a reason they won't share. His deeds have become questionable, so thus he is a threat.

Molan: Has in instances started fights outwardly in the party, slowing us down, and has become a hindarance in combat.

These are the reasons, and to answer the first guy, yes  the DM does know about these plans and I have had a chracter "killed" by these guys and I don't take to much offense to it. It is a game where anything can happen, anyone could be against you, and you need to watch your back or you could be killed.

While such a game is not my cup of tea, since all this chicanery is out in the open and approved by all players at the table, I find it unsporting to seek help from strangers on the internet. You all agreed to play within these parameters. Deal with it.

I'm not asking of a way out of it, I'm merely asking for some creative ways to kill them. I have a few ideas but, I wanted to know what you guys thought.

What are your ideas?

Also, it might help to know a little more about the campaign world. Where are you guys? Do you have a home base, or do you just wander? What's the local authority like? Do you have any allies outside the party? Enemies? What tools do you have access to? For example, could you buy (or make) poisons safely? Are there NPC spellcasters that would do unscrupulous things for gold? Do you have the gold to pay said spellcasters? etc. etc.

Well one of my plans included using Ungol dust (I believe the poison is called) on whichever victim it may have been. Perhaps disguised as a loved one or another ally. Once I reveal myself they would more than likely attack me, then I call for help. They see what's going on and I use the effect of the poison, he attacks them. Boom, we have our selves a fight. SOMEONE is gonna die.

Currently we are in waterdeep. Guards are looking for us do to two party members attempting to assssinate the mayor. We just seem to wander, no real base. Few of us have other allies that can fight outside of the party, my guy may have a few guys at the bar who could help (pretending ot be a bard). We could probably find some NPC assassin's or wizards to do the deed for us. I can make poison's with my Poisoner's kit and the class feat the Executioner assassin's have. My character owns 15 daggers, and a Garrote. I don't know about the others.

killing a Paladin.....I smell alignment changes to evil if they aren't there already.  For you and your non-assassin party members.  (are assassin's evil mandatory still?  You should be fine then)  maybe even, GASP......Lawful Evil!!!!!???!?!?!??!?!!?!?!?!??!?  o.O

Ya, the party will find out.  There is no sneaking around this.  Unless you're carefull.

We had  the party warlock kill another character (dont remember what she played) while they took night watches.  Warlock made sure he was on the same watch as the other character and killed her.  needless to say...both players left that game afterwards though.  But hey!  At least the warlock got away with it because nobody else was awake to hear or see it, even with percepsion tests to wake up durring the not so much of a fight!  YAY!

In my game last saturday, our ranger stole the deck of many things from the party wizard.  Ranger used the cards on himself, the deck vanishes after this happens after it's current owner uses it's ability, and the Wizard got pissed!  The wizard threw the first punch, er, wizards fury and ice hand....spell thing, I don't remember, in a suprise round and got murdered....hard.  PS.  Rangers in the core books are broken.  Figuring out how the Ranger rolled his damage took longer then the actual fight.

It can go any way you want it to, but this is D&D.  Nothing, goes according to plan.  Lemme say that again.  NOTHING, goes as planned.  Not for a DM and certainly not for the players.  Not usualy anyway.  try to at least come up with a plan.  If you don't take watches like my games go (i run a game and have played in multiple games where night watches are taken while camping in the wilderness) then try to take them out at an inn.  Carry some index cards or scrap papper with you for this game as well, you'll need it at first to hand messages to the DM and your buddies before the **** hits the fan and you're all fighting to kill one another.

And yes.  You may have to take them all out all at once.  It'll just happen and you'll have to react fast enough.  Like it was said before, your best chance is to try to catch them all after a fight in which you hadn't taken much damage or expended dailys and encounter powers, but you'll have to kill them all at once.  Hope for the best, and that they took alot of damage and expended their own dailys and encounter powers.

EDIT:

LOLOL...I thought this was a secretive thing, then I go back to read the other posts and the player of the Minotaur chimes in.  So everyone knows what's going down then?  May as well not even try to be secretive about it.  As for Being flashey with the kills?  Don't bother.  Your character will probably die well before you get a chance to do anything flashey.  ODIN DON'T ACCEPT NO COWARDS IN VALHALLA!!  Paldin best step up and put this uprising down!

Ya.  I got BEHIR as what monster I am.  This is why.

Lol, thanks for the help. And for the most part only the guy palying the minotaur knows we are trying to kill him. None of the characters themselves know it. For the most part we haven't discussed it much in game though it has been hinted at several times between members. So all of the characters know noting of the uprising.

The best way to kill someone is to let something else do it.  Or, since your are a changeling... let someone else THINK they did it.  Steal the drow's crossbow, disguise, shoot the minotaur a few times, then flee.
Likewise, disguise as the minotaur and attack the drow.
Hopefully no one has a good enough insight check.
(you havn't revealed that your a changeling yet have you?)

Also, if they are sleeping you only have to deal their bloody value on a crit to kill them.  Load them up with shrouds first to make sure it happens.

+1.

Also, "D&D isn't balanced for and really doesn't work for PvP."

Also, "coup de grace the Strikers while they sleep, then nova on the survivors, DONE.  See also, D&D isn't balanced for and really doesn't work for PvP."

This kind of action should only be done with people who can separate what their PC knows and what they know.  If the people are all on board with this happening and the PCs can act properly surprised and not bitch when a trap is sprung well / a trap is done poorly...  Then and only then does this go from the realm of never under any circumstances do this to this is the game we talk about for the next 5 years.

Just do not underestimate how hard this will be to do without every player (if not their PCs) are on board with this.

I second the suggestion of using your Changeling powers to let someone else do the job for you. Whether that's your partymembers, the city guard, or a local crimelord that you piss off disguised as the guy you want dead. As long as your Bluff score is high enough, the world is your oyster.

Sadly that is not the kind of Assassin I am. I'm using the Executioner build from the Heroes of shadow book. Which do not use shrouds.

I've been really thinking about doing that actually. I could use my parteners in this crime to try to distract the person I'm disguising as and then go after the the target. This will also help to ignite the fuses that have already been layed between characters. I may not need to attack them, but I could insult them a bit, or do something else. I have been looking more into how I could use my changeling powers to affect the party.

Then use your encounter Assassin's Strike.  That will be maximized to.  8(1|W|)+Dex(4?)+2(enh)+8(attack finess)+20(assassin's strike)+2d6 crit dice = 49 damage + death attack.  Which is more then 1/2 of 44.

Or, with a little luck, you could walk right up to them, surprise round attack, win inititive, attack, action point, and attack again and win without retaliation.

Also don't forget your poison.  If you feed it to them or apply it to something *they're* holding, you get "dazed until Extended rest" or "weakened until Extended Rest" or something.

It's really not hard to kill other PCs, because the game mechanics don't handle PvP.  The first attack *will* carry the day, you just need to front-load it with advantages.
