The Naked Dwarf

So, the other night my group and I had an eight hour session that was pretty epic. We had visted a large city called "Chesterfield" of where two of our members were exposed to Plague, before continuing on to a tiny village known as "Frowler's Eve" to investigate strange disapearences. Spending the entire session questioning the town's people (ranchers, a priest, a doctor, a prostitute etc) about missing persons as well as a slew of recent murders, we eventually narrowed down our scope to a suspiciously held party at a large nearby castle.
Long story short, all of us (myself-a dwarf Paladin, a Barde, a Ranger, and two wizards) went dressed to an elegant party and mingled with all of the towns people. While distracting many of them, we all took part in exploring parts of the mannor. Finding loose corridors, picking locks, busting down certain doors and discovering secret passages, we eventually alerted the patrons of the party and were forced to try to flee the hosts.
As it turns out, the hosts seem very much so the culprits of the recent happenings in "Frowler's Eve" as we exposed them for their true nature.....vampire lords. Cornered, severely outnumbered, and fearful of death, we were pushed into a dungeon like corridor with seemingly no escape. Fumbling about the dark stone walls, we rolled a lucky 19 for perception, uncovering a secret tile panel above us with a route for escape. Unfortunately, our Ranger could not get out in time and was knocked down to the ground, hp below zero, dying in the dark. The wizard next to me jumped down, tried to grab her, but couldn't. Without any equipment or armor, surely we were all doomed to become vampire ****s.
With one final, hopefull roll of the dice, without any other seeming course for action. I exclaimed "I rip off all of my clothing (the elegant robes), tie it off to this stone up here (I had done this in the previous turn), jump down holding it, grab the wizard and our dying Ranger friend, and in one fell swoop fling us all back up through this passage way (my naked, dwarven body flapping in the icy cold of the night).
The DM chuckled at my optimism as I shook my dice cup with fury. Letting the lid fly open, my d20 rolled out onto the table, flinging itself flat to reveal a natural 20. The DM burst into laughter, "alright you somehow managed to fling yourself down there and whip you all back up!" We all laughed our **** off and hurried out of the mannor, carrying our wounded friend, towards a nearby church for refuge (my naked dwarven body still flapping in the wind, the whole way there). Fun session. Sorry for all of the typos.

Sounds like quite a lot of fun there.  Good ingenuity and lucky rolls can take you far...  ;)

I once had a fighter who was like a bount instrament using sharp objects. Very deadly, but not so bright. My 'ally' was jumped by another PC and stripped clean of everything, even his cloths, just to add salt to the wound. Well I find him in the dark, but I can see enough to help him out and get him up. As we're walking and talking, he totally thought he was in the safe zone and planning on his revenge, when the DM mentioned we were in brighter light. Right then it hit me, I looked at him up and down (as if we are our characters) and I say, "Your naked!" in an embarrasing teen kinda way. That dude got so pissed off and everyone was laughing through the rest of the session. It'skinda juvenile, but those moments can be the best
