I have been torn between which character I want to play wanted to hear your thoughts At the front is a barbian goliath.  The reason he is at the fron is I made a good backstory for him.  I know how I want to role-play him.  He started as a sophisticated barbian.  He ejoyed the finner things in life.  He also started as a half-orc.  It kind of ended up being like beast from x-men. I then changed him to a goliath because I really like the race.  The "beast" theme didn't work so I have designed him after colonel armstrong from full metal alchemst.  This came to be because his name is Flint McVanderhuge. My next choice is a shadar-ki sorccer.  I wanted to fine a reason to play a shadar-ki and I wanted to make the rogue sorccer taking advangte of feats like sorceer blade chanlling.  Third is a shaman.  The only reason he is even considered is our group needs a leader and I wanted to try him out, but he is in third cause I uselly play the leader in groups.  I enjoy but wanted to try a striker Our group has a fighter, druid, avenger, undecied but likely a ranger, and whatever I play
