Hi Folks,

First let me thank you for any and all the help. I'm trying to recreate the lich king as a playable 1-30 d&d 4e character. The dm has given me permission to do so as we are trying to run an evil campaign. So basically I'm looking for help with class selection/role selection, and some ideas.

Now you startt by designing lich peasant.  You do not start with 20th level powers or anything that makes you a stud.

Personally, I'd start with Warcraft III, and make a low-level Paladin who goes both more and more evil and insane as time goes on, taking whatever multiclass feats will get you into Arcane goodness.

Revenant (Half-Orc) Blackguard, multi-class into Shaman. Or, if you want to represent your cold aura, maybe be a Cavalier Paladin and change the Aura damage to cold.

Ya I was thinking about running a defender paladin from the start and doing the cold aura change to my aura and my powers, the dm also gave me the option to creat a few powers.

Hammer-based Paladin that muticlasses into Heavy Blade Swordmage, choosing Cold powers from the Swormage lists?

Hybrid Blackguard/Wizard, get the Necromancy school spells.
