#1 forgelord Sep 13, 2009 13:38:00	Does anyone know where I could get several orc miniatures cheap and used? I'm looking for numbers ranging in the hundreds, and my only requirement is that they're not broken and are painted. Thanks!
#2 bone_naga Sep 13, 2009 15:29:54	Go on ebay and try to get a couple sets of the old Battlemasters game (an awesome game back in the day, btw). Each one comes with a bunch of orcs (and archers, and cavalry, and goblins, and minotaurs, and well you get the idea). EDIT: Also, I've created extra orcs in the past by taking human figures, particularly ones where the face is partially covered, and painting them as orcs. Alos, I missed the part about them being painted. In that case, good luck because I do not know of any way to get masses of painted miniatures for cheap.

Your very best bet is to simply bite the bullet & buy boxes of Games Workshop Orcs or the Urik Hai(sp?) they make for the LoTR game. Yes these need assemled.  No, these aren't already painted.  The good news? A) Assembly isn't that hard.  Especially if you get some friends to help you.... B) Painting.  Time for me to insult WoTC product arain....  Take a look at a WoTC orc.  I'm sure you can slop paint onto a fig & have it look at least as good....  But you can do qick paint jobs that look ok for what use your aiming for.  Prime the figs gray or white.  Dry brush/wash the whole fig in some color - say lt brown for the clothing.  Then go back & paint the flesh green & the swords etc metal.  Once again, having friends help do this greatly speeds this up.  And after you've done your Hoards-of-orcs D&D thing?  Well, you've got plenty of pieces to start a Warhammer/LoTR army....

#5 Mind_Flayer_Monk Sep 14, 2009 2:36:08	How about using the Grimlock Minion miniature from the Dangerous Delves set? Auggies has them at .25 cents each, so 100 of them will set you back $25.00. Other than that you can try posting in the DnD marketplace and see what kind of offers people make you.
