It's a three man party. The other two characters are Half-Elf Wizard, and Half-Elf Melee Ranger. What character should I create to make up for the parties weaknesses?

Thanks in advance.

You need a long range Striker badly. As well as extra healing. Be a Cleric focusing on ranged powers. Be a Dwarf so that you can reserve the minor action for Second Wind and Healing Word.

Funny...I was going to say melee cleric, maybe multi-class to paladin or fighter. Help soak up the blows and protect the squishy wizard. See if you can talk the ranger into being an archer.

I'd suggest a good solid charisma/wisdom based paladin, multi-classed to cleric to pick up some extra healing. Get a decent wisdom score and you should be able to handle things pretty well with that group.

Honestly, I think you should be whatever kind of character you wish to-subject to any setting requirements and the enjoyment of yourself and the rest of your group. One of the great things about 4th is that now, more than ever you can get away with pretty much any party comp. Just play what you like.

Half-Elf Paladin.

Seconded! With a striker and a controller, the Paladin fills out most of the gaps you can fill with one character.

Half-elf is optional, of course. But it's not a bad choice for a paladin, and a party of three half-elfs should make for a memorable campaign.

Yeah, that's the only reason I said Half-Elf. That, plus, they can all dilettante other classes abilities, to mix things up.

Half-elf triplets.... Hmm.. Whoever meets them would certainly remember them
